Critical Incident Support
EAP Consultants' critical incident service has been specifically designed to include:
- Planning and preparation for a critical incident
- Quick and efficient response during a crisis
- Tailored review and follow up mechanisms
Incidents might include:
- Workplace accidents
- Transport accidents
- Fire violence
- Witnessing an accident/serious incident
- Death of an employee - sudden or otherwise
- Suicide
- Death of family/friend - sudden or otherwise
- Murder
- Assault/violence
- Armed robbery
- Acts of terrorism
EAP Consultants provide Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) services in compliance with the Safety Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005 and provisions contained in the framework for major emergency management.
We have a Critical Incident team to provide a response to critical incidents and carry out assessments at short notice. Members of our response team have certification from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF).
