Managing Director
Maura Kilcoyne (B.A. H.Dip Soc. Admin, NLP Practitioner MEAPA)

Maura is one of the pioneers in the EAP field, being one of the founder
members of EAPA Ireland.
Maura holds the company ethos of ‘Big enough to matter, small enough to
care’ as being a key factor of success. Personal attention, and on-going
contact ensures your EAP service develops in response to your specific needs.
Senior Business Manager
Chris Gilmore, BSc (Hons), IMCert, PG (Dip), EAPA
Chris is our Senior Business Manager, with over 8 years experience in EAP management. His training was initially in occupational psychology, and he has post graduate qualifications in both management and information technology. His focus lies in promoting awareness of EAP's and well-being services to the Irish Public and Private Sectors. He has implemented and managed employee support services for a wide range of Irish and International organisations and also has a keen interest in bereavement support and counselling, holding the position of chairperson for the Rathmines Bethany Bereavement Support Group as one of the founding members.
Accounts Manager Coordinator
Noelle Gallagher BSc, MSc, EAPA
Noelle is Account Manager with EAP Consultants having worked in this role for over three years.
Noelle originally trained in the area of Psychology and Health at undergraduate level, and developed an interest in the organisational aspect of psychology culminating in completing a Masters in Occupational Psychology.
Noelle is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the BPS Division of Work and Organisational Psychology.
Noelle has a keen interest in Employee Assistance Programme services and implementation, and has been an active member of the EAPA Ireland committee since 2007.
Noelle has great experience in rolling out support and training services to staff and management, and particularly in ensuring service provision is monitored and evaluated to ensure quality and adherence to EAPA and clinical standards.
Operations Manager
Jane McNicholas (M.Sc., MEAPA, MIAAAC)
Jane has over 20 years experience in training and organisational development. Having started working in adult education, curriculum design, Project Management methodology and documentation, she progressed to designing, developing and implementing training programmes for organisations.
Jane’s specific area of interest within the EAP field is in developing strategies to support employees address personal well-being. She contributed a chapter ‘Stress Management and Positive Thinking’, to the recently (2009) published Redundancy Book.
Jane works as a Senior Consultant with EAP Consultants. Her principal role is the design and development of EAP services.
Clinical/Case Manager
John Duffy, B.A., Dip. Psych., M.Sc., Reg. Psychol., Ps.S.I

John is the Clinical Manager with EAP Consultants since 2003. He oversees the recruitment and clinical practice of the affiliate counsellors. He is available to them for support, consultation and supervision. He also acts as Case Manager to a number of our client organisations.
John trained as a Counselling Psychologist at University College Dublin and Trinity College. He is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
John has over fifteen years counselling experience. During this time he has worked with a wide range of client groups and issues. He has a particular clinical interest in the assessment and treatment of trauma and post traumatic stress disorder.
He developed an interest in Employee Assistance Programmes in the early 1990's. In 1995 he completed an M.Sc thesis on the nature and extent of employee assistance programmes in Ireland.
Manager of Information Services
John Fitzgerald
John is manager of Information Services, and has been working in the area of Staff Support since 1990 previously working as an Employee Assistance Officer in Department of Justice/ Irish Prison Service for 12 years until 2007. John had a catchment of over 10,000 people including supporting staff and their families & retired staff and families. The role included meeting with individuals face to face and referred onwards as appropriate to Counselling, Psychiatry, Psychological interventions etc. John has established many contacts in the various treatment Centres for addictions etc throughout the country and has participated in many training Courses in the area of C.I.S.M. and P.T.S.D.
Since 2007 John has been lecturing with N.U.I.G. on a range of subjects on their Certificate and Diploma in E.A.P. and on their Degree programme in Training and Education. Furthermore John also chairs and participates in interview boards for The Public Appointments Service.
John has a Certificate/Diploma in Employee Assistance as well as the practical experience of almost 20 years working in the field. He is fully trained in all areas of Employee Assistance and Social Support and is a Founder Member and former President of EAPA Ireland.
Critical Incident Manager
Richard Monahan, DPsysch, MIAHP, EAPA, ICISF
Richard is a counsellor and psychotherapist with over 15 years experience in management. He has worked as a trainer throughout Ireland, with particular emphasis in Critical Incident support. Richard is a certified trauma specialist and accredited trainer/instructor with the Irish Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) and is currently involved in training the Irish Emergency Services in CISM related interventions, including pre-incident preparedness, crisis management briefings, defusing, debriefing and peer support interventions.
